One of the best things about travel is partaking in the local cuisine. I have no idea what this dish is called but man was it good. Our recent trip to Thailand was a honeymoon in tastebud sensations :)
Nothing compares to the real Thai food served in Thailand. A word of warning don't ever ever ever order spicy or even half spicy....Their idea of half spicy is 1000 times spicier then any spicy I have ever had in my life. One little bite sent Kaikoa and I crying and nose dripping for over 2 hours.
Is everyone else looking at a picture of pie, or pasta or some other definable dish? the fact that that thing on the fork has multliple tenticles is enough for me to say ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I am not very good at trying differetn food, and if its ugly, I just cant eat it.
good job Carol...a perfect picture
ReplyDeleteOh yes.. I love Thai food too! Welcome to the group, Carol

This looks like something my hubby would order, and love! Looks like a little squid there, and lots of shrimp. Yummy! Great photo.

I do love Thai food. Is the real thing close to what restaurants serve in North America?

ReplyDeleteWonderful. Whenever I travel out of the country, I try and eat at least one thing that is part of the local cuisine.
