Take for instance the animosity towards the Dandelion. I think they are rather pretty and bright. They grow just about anywhere and don't require replanting or reseeding. One can make a colourful bouquet or a refreshing wine and even a tossed salad. Of course for the latter two, you would want to ensure your crop came from and un-sprayed in every sense of the word place. So I proclaim April 29th National Love The Dandelion Day.
