at least I hope the picture is uploading.  So here I sit on the porch thinking I would rather be at the beach.  I took a spill on my bike. Hit some loose gravel and down she went.  Have a nasty gash on my knee which I have to keep dry.   I have bought some anti-bacterial drying powder so hopefully with in the next two days all shall be well.

We're down to under two weeks here on the island.  I imagine time is going to go pretty fast. Tomorrow a good friend of ours is having a birthday celebration at the beach bar so that should be a good time.  Must remember to bring flashlight to find my way home.....sorry so short....ttfn

porch blog

the title is where I sit.  I found the coolest place to be other then in the ocean.  On the front porch with the big fan on, directly aimed to me :)
 I see some bees or wasps are building a home in our tile roof.  I hope they are happy ones and not some rare Asian/African killer cross breed type.  lol  Just what we need to worry about after dinner plate sized spiders and random snakes going over our feet... 
Time is running down here just under three weeks till we head off to Vietnam.  I am getting excited about visiting another country.  Can't wait to try the food and local beer...
Not much else to talk about been a cloudy sort of day with intermitent rain...
