Summer is growing things. I love how the heads of Sunflowers turn to face the sun. We take the seeds from the plants in the fall and save some for the next spring so we have the same family lineage..
I love sunflowers. I was just saying no matter how hard I try the chipmonks here will not let me grow them, they keep stealing the seeds from the ground. Yours look to get really big and I too love the way they always seem to find the sun. This is a great share of summertime and I thank you so much for my morning smiles....
Are those percys great grandkids, then? You've reminded me that I really ought to see about planting some sunflowers this year - I have plenty of room now......
Cool Carol, I love to see sunflowers. I like hollyhocks also and of course, I adore roses...Thank you for sharing these. I wish I could grow something outside. Miss not having my own place.
No time for comments but trying to visit sites, apologize for this copy and paste but just had to look at the summer photos. Way too many summer activities going on now to spend a lot of time on the computer. http://mrsrh.multiply.com/journal/item/369
