Yep, that's me and the old hairball. Hard to believe it's been 25 years since we tied the knot. Where have all the years gone? Looking back over the past quarter of a century I would honestly have to say the good times far out weigh the rough times. It's getting through the rough times and not bailing when the going gets tough is what sets apart the men from the boys. That probably didn't make any sense but I know what I mean. One has to accept the other for what they are and not go into a relationship planning to change them. After all you fell in love with them for the person they are not what you hope to change them into.We had lived together 2 years prior to getting married so in a sense this could also be our 27th living together anniversary.
Don't you just love the hat? It has 80's wedding written all over it. FYI our weeding song was the theme from Young and Restless. We starting watching the soap when we first moved in together and are still watching it. No one else on the soap is married to the same person lol

ReplyDeleteNice! I thought to myself "I love that hat!" before I read your text. At our wedding, my husband and I made the DJ play Mah Na Mah Na from The Muppet Show for our recessional. We didn't tell our wedding party beforehand, so they were all laughing when they walked out. Made for some great pictures.

I will have to go back and look at my pics. congratulations on 25 years. we are working on 24 after living together 4 years. they get to start feeling like a left arm or something. and sometimes they are just the extra wieght we have to carry around. but they look good with us. hope you have many more together.
