Thursday Thirteen

Yay An exclamation that always needs to be louder. 
Today is Thursday and I can do my third blog of 2013.  I am feeling pretty crappy today with I think is a head cold so no walk for me today...So the resolution will have to be put on hold...here goes...in no particular order...

1.  I really love the new year.  I try to go to bed at a decent time on New Years Eve so I can wake up early and refreshed and start the year off right..

2. Three days of cold and sunny weather in a row here.  It's nice to see the white mountains in the distance and not be socked in by depressing clouds and rain.

3. In just over 3 weeks I will be jetting off to hot sandy beaches, sunshine and cold beer (Chang)

4.Did I mention Chang (pronounced chung)?  It is my favorite Thai beer :)

5.Since I last wrote a blog we have adopted a stray cat named Meow (thai word for cat) for real...pronounced maow...he is the best cat in the world...I call him the king of cats...we all heart him...

6. Not only did we add a feline but we also got a bunny named Stu. He's residing on the front porch and is a virtual poop machine.

7. This is harder then I thought it was going to be....Hmm only up to 7 and hitting a wall...oh this is good I used up one onto number 8.

8.Tomorrow I drive the kid to work once again at 5:30 AM....why oh why do kids not get their driver's license ?

9.Every Christmas I try to make something homemade. This year the lucky recipient was the young prince's girlfriend..  I quilted her a stocking, and it took me a lot longer then I thought it would.  Maybe because I couldn't see what I was doing?

10.Referring to number 9 here,  I really do need to invest in some good glasses.  I did buy a better pair of readers,  a step up from the dollar store ones....

11. Something that really bugs me about spell checks is the spelling is always American English...It doesn't let me spell colour the way I want or favourite grrrrrrr

12.Back again had to go let the cat out and cover the bunny cage for the night.  It's supposed to drop down to about -4....don't be alarmed it isn't as bad as it sounds in Fahrenheit.

13. I did it, made it to 13.  this counts as 13.....
