and so the fun begins



"Summer brings so many things. Summer brings us rides in swings."  I don't know if you remember that book by Alice Low but its a good one illustrated by Roy McKie.

Yesterday, Nevada, Kaikoa and I and three of their friends met the swim-club at the water-slides.  I had never been to this particular one but I tell you it was great.http://www.cultus.com/index.asp

The place wasn't crowded at all possibly due to the cloudy conditions.  The facilities were very clean which impressed me immensely.   I would definitely go back.

When the kids were done sliding we drove across the road and had a lovely picnic supper at the lake.  The place was deserted for a friday night.  We did share our dinner with a flock of geese.  The baby's still had the down fuzz on their heads.  What a great time, but I wondered the whole time why a few clouds with sunny breaks would keep people in doors?

    I havent been to a water slide since the kids were younger. it is so much fun. looks like nyou all had a great time.
