Check this out and then tell me. Is this not a housecoat worn backwards? I had the biggest laugh watching this infomercial last night. Could be I was punch drunk from tiredness waiting to pick up the big kid from work at 11. Which he didn't get out till 12 and I sat and froze in the parking lot but that's an entirely different angry story.
So here I sit this morning only half functioning and too many things to list to do today one of which is buy a hockey stick and start practicing. I am in a hockey-shoot out on Friday night. 20 shots 20 seconds. I can win a 2 year lease on a HHR. If I win on Friday I advance to the finals in March. I am hoping that I am competing against elderly, unskilled people with no coordination that don't know what end is up on the stick... I think I will forgo any liquid refreshments before hand so I am in top game form....
No - housecoats don't have those sorts of sleeves and they aren't made from blanket material. Thats just a blanket with sleeves for people who are too lazy to wear a sweater, I guess. Amazing - you could buy several blankets for that price.
ReplyDeleteNo, go practice......and what is an HHR?

ReplyDeleteIt looks like Chevy's version of that Chrysler whatsitsname that Lisa drives, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteVery cool - especially if Harrison eventually passes his driving test - you can let him use your van.
Hey - but shouldn't you be practicing?
When we went to Florida in October that is what I rented, a bright red HHR. I liked it and it had all the bells and whistles and was red too! It is similar to the Chrysler PT Cruiser which we have but I liked the HHR better.
ReplyDeletehhmmm......I hate to say it but I kind of like the Snuggie idea. When I visit my mom and sit and watch TV with her, we both have to throw blankets on our legs to keep warm in winter. And it is hard to eat my TV snack with a blanket up to my chin. But, yeah - a regular blanket usually works.
ReplyDeleteWe saw that on tv last night at work. one of the girls said its just a backwards robe. that made ma almost spit my lunch foe some reason. I think cus we were all trying to figure the thing out. I would rathere have a blanket over me.
ReplyDeleteI cant beleive Em didnt know what an HHR was. I dont care for the wanna be Cruiser. I like mine better. But how did you do in the hocky contest.
Well I didn't make it to the final but won a lovely car care package, calender and a game book for the WHL 2008-2009 year,. complete with all the players stats. Now I have to figure who I can regift the book to.
ReplyDeleteHockey shoot out? No kidding! There are more layers to your then an onion. The only thing I would win in a hockey shoot out is a trip to the hospital!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed!
Sittin in the car for an hour waiting for hubby? I'm afraid my hubby would get £1.70 left for him on reception so he could take the bus home! LMAO!
I saw this infomercial here...and laughed! As someone stated below...just a blanket with sleeves. But, I must admit...(whispers) it does look like it would be warm. lol
