quilting for dummies

Well this is my first entry at the new site and I am not amused.  I don't like change, Carol stamps her feet but keeps on typing.  I still hadn't figured out the whole 360 thing and now I have to learn about this place. Well enough of the rant back to what I am here to blog about.

Having watched Lisa's beautiful quilts and stitching go by it has made me get off my butt and start a new project.  I would have put the pics here but didn't know how.  Thanks to Lisa for all her help thus far.  Lisa you maybe could have warned me a few more times about the sharp blade on the rotary cutter (carol whimpers and looks down at her band-aid).  I am almost finished the front of the quilt.  I would have had it done but can only sew when Nevy's at school and have to clean everything up after each time as I am sewing and cutting on the dining room table.  So go check out my pics if they show up and tell me what you think.  be kind keep that in mind.

  2. It's the yellow thing in the pictures it has a little sharp wheel you run down the material to cut it. It also cuts fingers...

  3. ohhhhhhh, I am sew sorry! get it, sew sorry. hahahahahahahhaha. Ok, so now you know how sharp they are. I will write on your personal message thingy to tell you how to put on the back. you did really good! Im proud of you doing this on your own. pretty soon you will be as addicted as i am. I have been trying to think of another easy one for you to work on. Good work! Lisa Pats Carol on the back, stands back and admires her work and gives her a hug for doing this on her own. It can get confusing. Keep those fingers back away from the blade.
