Fall is such a gorgeous time of year. Hubby and I enjoyed a fabulous walk out at the river the other day. The sun was shining everything was perfect. One has to enjoy each fall day that we get what with the upcoming winter and non-stop rain we get here in BC. I wish I could play the sound of all the gulls crying in the background. The salmon are pretty well all spawned out here and their dead carcasses line the banks of the river. I like to run up and scatter the birds. Some are really bold and stay till the last possible second. This year has been a pretty dismal salmon year. One would think that the powers that be that control the commercial fisheries would just have to see how depleted the salmon stocks are and put a stop to the netting of salmon. The fish don't stand a chance they have to run a gauntlet of nets stretched from one side of the river to the other. That is if they are lucky to escape all the nets being dragged in the ocean. I guess its money that talks and not nature. Hope everyone is enjoying their fall weather.
